Project Rozana’s Peace In Sight program is a vital initiative that focuses on improving ophthalmic care in Palestine. The program provides specialist training and up-skilling opportunities for Palestinian ophthalmologists, with a view to improving patient outcomes and building capacity within the Palestinian healthcare system.
In one example of the program in action, Project Rozana facilitated training for physicians at St John Hospital in East Jerusalem, enabling the establishment of a new genetic research unit focused on inherited eye disorders. The training was delivered by experts from the renowned Hadassah Medical Center, who provided the latest knowledge and techniques in ophthalmic care to Palestinian doctors.

Through initiatives like Peace In Sight, Project Rozana is helping to close the gap in healthcare provision between Israelis and Palestinians, while fostering cooperation and collaboration between medical professionals from both sides of the conflict. By providing targeted training and up-skilling opportunities, we are creating a more equitable and sustainable healthcare system for all.
